Watermark Community Church

Deb Frazier

Deb Frazier

Hi! My name is Deb Frazier. My husband Dan and I have been married for 45 years and attending Watermark for the past three. I serve with the Wednesday morning Women's Bible Study in Plano and also in a new ministry called Refuge, which serves the chronically ill and their caregivers. I'm also the lady who wears a baseball cap to church because of leukemia, but maybe when you read this, I will have hair! It's been a tough few years dealing with cancer, but I like to describe myself as the one "standing in God's grace."

[Editor's Note: It is our sad duty to report that Deb passed away in June. She has met face-to-face the One who is the Living Word. She now knows fully the truth of what she has written in her devotional, and she understands with eternal clarity that she indeed is "standing in God's grace." In addition to the many ways she served at Watermark, she was a Journey editor for the past three years. The Journey team will miss her.]

Psalm 119:105-112

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
106 I have sworn an oath and confirmed it,
to keep your righteous rules.
107 I am severely afflicted;
give me life, O Lord, according to your word!
108 Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O Lord,
and teach me your rules.
109 I hold my life in my hand continually,
but I do not forget your law.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me,
but I do not stray from your precepts.
111 Your testimonies are my heritage forever,
for they are the joy of my heart.
112 I incline my heart to perform your statutes
forever, to the end. [1] (ESV)

[1] 119:112 Or statutes; the reward is eternal

Psalm 110:2

The Lord sends forth from Zion
your mighty scepter.
Rule in the midst of your enemies!
